I am pleased to announce an upcoming training opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts. My colleague, Steph Drieze, and I have developed a comprehensive training focused on combining low-dose Ketamine and EMDR intensive therapy.
This 12.5-hour training is approved for 9 EMDRIA CEUs for the didactic learning portion and includes a 3-hour experiential practicum where clinicians can practice and receive a Psycholytic EMDR session in a safe environment.
Key topics will include:
* History and evidence-based research on Psycholytic therapy for trauma
* Screening and assessment for choosing appropriate candidates
* Ethical and harm reduction practices for this treatment
* Nuances to extended session and integrative approaches
* Practical applications of low-dose Ketamine and EMDR standard protocol
* Lessons learned from our own experiences
This training is designed to increase clinicians' confidence in offering integrative psycholytic EMDR in their practices.
If you are interested but have not yet taken any Ketamine Assisted Therapy Training, you may still apply. Our partnership with Fluence and Psychedelic Affirming Education provides discounted foundational ketamine training to be completed ahead of our experiential training.
If you are not sure if this training is for you-check out the workshop offering below which serves as a primer for the Experiential Training.
